Has anyone else noticed that ELC have increased their prices in the last week? I was about to purchase the Country kitchen when I notice a price had incresed by £20...! this also applies to the retro kitchen and how many more items???
I made a complaint and have now been offered the kitchen at the original price (that's in the christmas catalogue) but have been left feeling like i don't really want to buy from them anymore if this is the way they treat there customers. Shame on you ELC

Yes, we noticed this. We had been waiting until closer to Christmas to buy the retro Christmas and when we saw the price increase we went and bought else where, I'm sure we won't be the only ones.

Most shops increase the prices before a sale (to make you think you are getting a bargain when its in the sale), is it possible that in the next week or so they might have an offer on the kitchen (say 20% off)?

I'm glad its not me going mad then.
We live in the Middle East and have ELC here although the prices are really extortionate.
I bought DD a lovely dolls house for Christmas a few weeks ago. At the same time I bought the dolls and a few of the pieces of furniture meaning to get some more nearer the time.
At the time, each room set was SR99 each (SR6 to the £) and when I went in last week they were SR129 a set. Hell of an increase

Would love to know what they cost in the UK, bet probably half what they are here
