sorry- seriously- perfume for 10yr old? Isn't that a bit scary/wrong?

eightsixandtwo · 24/11/2009 12:49

honeyapple, she only sprays a bit on when we go out, mainly cos I do so she's not wearing it all the time

No.
This is a girly thing, not tarty.

The Perfume Shop had Hannah Montana and Hello Kitty gift sets

DD, 6 yrs has a barbie one. It's quite nice and I sometimes use it.

Nothing wrong with perfume for the young ladies, mine likes to play dress up and this is part of her fun. And believe me, I am one of the most conservative, strict parents you could meet.

honeyapple · 25/11/2009 20:47

if you say so! I have DD (7 next month) and I just like the way that she smells naturally- don't understand why you would want to stick some chemicals on her skin...

ThatVikRinA22 · 25/11/2009 21:40

Next do some lovely ones - about £6. my DD who is 12 has some, they are really nice. she has one called Pink, and another called Diamonds. she has asked for Ruby for xmas! they are cheap and smell nice

also the Body Shop does some nice ones aswell, not too pricey or overpowering.

Calamansi · 25/11/2009 21:47

My DD has the Zara one - it's lovely, I sometimes borrow it!

whifflegarden · 25/11/2009 22:53

Honeyapple, she's had it for almost two years, got it as a present from her aunt a couple of christmases ago. So at her age, it's not something that she uses everyday, just a bit of fun now and again.

Are you telling me you never ever put nail polish on your dd's toe nails, say for her birthday, or Christmas?

nappyaddict · 27/11/2009 10:26

honeyapple What age would you buy perfume for your DD then? Don't forget that at age 10 they are probably going to be using deodorant.
