Science Museum Savings Bank/Money Box

Has anyone bought one of the Science Museum Money Boxes - they make a rocket, a robot and an ATM one. If so, are they any good? I am thinking about buying some for 7 and 10 year old boys

My son (7) has the robot which he got last christmas. He really likes it, but the sensor that makes it talk and move seems to get set off so easily that we cover it with a t-shirt most of the time. Also very battery hungry.
