Is this a stupid idea?

DD will be 7 months at Christmas. We have always said we're not going to get her much this year - a few bits for a stocking such as bath toys etc. more for our benefit than hers - she will love the lights, balloons, wrapping paper and Christmas dinner and she'll be spoilt rotten by relatives I'm sure!

But the other day I came across a garden swing on the internet that has a seat that can be used from 6 months. It isn't too expensive and will last a long time. I think she'll like it although it probably won't get used much in the winter!

Is it stupid to get it now? - should we wait? I think I've got a bit of a romantic vision of her out in it in her snowsuit on Christmas day!

Nah not a stupid idea at all.

and she'd catch a cold too!

Seriously, it's a good buy. She'll use it for ages.

Just don't get too excited with the presents just yet. Soon she'll be screaming for this and that herself.

Great idea for when you're hanging the washing out. Christmas is the perfect excuse to give it.
