I got DD2 a tutu (the nylon lycra one in white) from the Tutu Shop a few years ago and it is good, she still wears it now as the shoulder straps come sewn on one side only so you can adjust to fit.

My DD had one of these for Christmas 2 years ago from her GPs and it's lovely - not cheap though!

on the homemade christmas present thread, there is a no sew tutu tutorial. really easy and will cost you less than a fiver.

There is some frilly lilly stuff in the clearance section on ASOS although I don't think what you are looking for.

My DD got a white leotard and tutu from the Little White Company (where else for white!) last xmas:

this year's tutu here

Dance Direct do white tutus for £15. Dd had one three years ago, I paid £25 for it then (they are reduced now) and it has lasted beautifully. It is very high quality.

She also has a lovely velour one that she had for her last dance school show. That came from the local dance shop via International Dance Supplies.
