Has anyone seen any nice tasteful snowglobes around? For children mainly, but that would maybe become part of the Christmas tradition and trimmings?

Haven't seen any this year, but have seen them in the past at Harrod's, Harvey Nick's, and museum gift shops.

My local TK Max always has loads.

M+S sometimes do them - beautiful musical ones
don't know if they have them this year

the bigger disney store ones are fabulous - well outwith my price range but ideal heirloom material!

Thanks all. Sadly there was jack shit in TK Maxx in the way of snow globes. Shall investigate M&S and Disney Store.

I don't know if you'd think this is a bit twee but last Christmas we took 2 photo's of our then foster baby to our local Asda's photo developing section and they incorporated these into a snow globe.

It meant there were 2 views of the baby and we permanent marked the base with the date and her name and age.

We placed the globe along with a Christmas tree decoration that we'd had her name engraved on in her treasures box when she left us.

Try john lewis and/or peter jones too.
