DS Lite/DSI Game Help Please

After much begging, DS1 is getting a DSI for his Christmas, and his lovely grandparents have offered to purchase a couple of games for it. Question is which ones to get? He is nearly six. Can anyone please let me know what games your little darlings particularly enjoy, and any that were big flops? Any help would be much appreciated.

Also interested in this but for my DD's aged 8 and 5.

Also if anyone has seen any special offers/discounts on DS Lites that would be great too (I am buying two of the bloomin' things!)

teenyweenytadpole - I ordered a DSI from Additions catalogue for £122 delivered. Have a look on the Legal & Money forum under coupons/bargains, and there is an offer code for £30 off a £60 spend with that online catalogue. Great bargain. You have to be a first time customer though. I love Mumsnet.

I wouldn't get a DSi, according to all the reviews the camera is quirky but not good enough for the extra £50 and whilst the graphics are a little better they're nothing that a six year old would notice. The DS lite also takes gameboy games. Play.com usually has good deals, with a game. My DS is getting a DS with club penguin as part of the package from my DPs.

we alos buy game boy advance games that go in the bottom of the ds on old style and lite these are so cheap they dont work with touch screen but still great we have big bag of these as much cheaper to get hold of on ebay etc
