Dolls pram recommendations

Can anybody recommend a nice pram for DD (aged 2) to put her dolls in? We have been told that a collapsible one is best so that it can be put in the car easily to visit GPs etc. We don't really want replica travel system, just a basic pram. All recommendations gratefully received.

dd got silver cross one when she was 2, still plays with it now, at 6.

I am considering this one for DD who is almost 2 (but tall for her age). I like it because the handle angles down a lot so she can use it now but it will last her a long time.

Will watch this thread with interest though to see if anything else comes up as am being told by some people to get her one aimed at a younger child.

It's not totally clear from the picture but there are two buttons on the handle which you press to hinge it downwards so the holding part of the handle is much much lower.

My mum is getting my dd (also 2) a pram for Christmas, I quite like this little set

Dd has tried this in the shop and it is a perfect height - my only concern is that I don't think that it will last for a long time - a year, maybe 18months tops.

BeckleSpeckle - DD2 has the Silver Cross Ranger.

I think its really good quality considering the price. It is pretty small so should be a good size for your DD.

dd is two and to be honest would probably trash a Silver Cross type - she's not into the whole tucking up carefully thing with dolls, more racing around with them

she does however love the rock solid wooden one we bought her cousin and I'd think the £10 umbrella stroller type would be fine too.

Beckle great minds think alike then! Do you know why people think you should get one for a younger age? The Silver Cross does look as if it would be difficult for DD to get in - the wooden one Mrs Badger suggests is nice but I think it would become more of a go kart pretty rapidly.

Lily - do you think it collapses? It's difficult to tell from the picture but DD does like Peppa.

Plonker thanks for that suggestion - it seems to be good value for money but I'm not sure we'd be able to find room for all the different bits although I guess I could try to get the GPs to have some of it for when we visit

Hehe SQ, didn't even notice that you were the OP! Daft bint aren't I?! My friend has one of the Silver Cross style ones with the moveable handle and DD doesn't struggle to push it at all although it still looks quite big next to her. I love the matching changing bag

The one in Plonker's link is the type certain friends are trying to talk me into but as she says, it will be grown out of quickly. I like the wooden one a lot but my DD would definitely sit in it. She has one of the £10 umbrella style ones but she sits in that a lot and I have had to repair the fabric many, many times...

Argos are doing good discounts on the Silver Cross one at the moment! £16.99 but not in stock near me but they will email when stock available[smile)
