I think we have been 5 times in the last 2 yrs so are definately beating us!

I have booked:
Xmas lunch by the lake (in raj. prad. I think)
Santa's Workshop thing -my DS will prob run a mile - 18 months but I will love it! do you think santa will let me sit on his knee?
Bumblebees x 2 for DS (he loves it there)
Too many spa treatments to mention - one after another - mwah ha ha ha ha!
Flying Saucers to make a nice mug for nanny!
Sunday Lunch (not sure where that is)
Much needed haircut!

No school timetables here yet (our nursery still charge you whenever you bloody take holidays!) but as we are off to Thailand & Australia in Feb for a whole month I might have difficulty persuading DH to take any more time off work.

Still hoping for our usual week in September tho..............

Am tempted to book for xmas next year! Is it too early, I wouldnt know which one to go to as they probably wont advertise their xmas activities till next Summer. I have been to Sherwood 3 times and love it there. Maybe should try something different.

Hi BGT try Longleat it is the best one more to do with children about 10 outside parks compared to 1 i think at Sherwood. It is hilly and the dearest but lovely.Only 43 sleeps to go for a magical 10 day break over christmas. One word of warning book a villa in the pine area it is right opposite the plaza that is where we are for christmas if you stay in fir it is a good 45 walk up hill.

Yes I would definately echo what sour says about location! I know they charge quite a bit now but it would be a bit of a nightmare to be soooo far away from everything (tho there is a train/bus thing).

Definately not too early for next year!

We've only been to Longleat and the one near Penrith but Longleat is looooooooovely.

We're going to Elveden on the 22nd November for 5 days. Not quite Christmas but all the Christmas stuff will be there so Ds can got o visit Santa

We booked it earlier in the year when we got back from our February break there. If you book within 28 days of getting home, they promise their best price so we're getting a 3 bed Woodland Lodge (4 adults and 1 child) for £215.

I can't wait. Will be our last holiday alone with DS before DD arrives in late December. Last chill out for me before doing the newborn stage again!!
