Fun table games do they exist?

A friend of mine likes pulling out the jenga board after a dinner party and subjecting us all to playing a quick game.

Does anyone have any suggestions for other fun games to be played after dinner ?

My family always played Mah Jongg. My dad's best friend's family always played Monopoly.

Personally, I hate games after dinner parties

Me too Jux - isn't mahjongg a pain to set up?

Just thought it could be a good christmas present for them.

Cranium- I think there is an adult version

I like The Big Idea, also Masquerade and Absolute Balderdash.

The Big Idea I think would be fine from about age 9ish, ditto Masquerade (if you let little ones pick the easiest mimes), Absolute Balderdash probably 12 years at least. The advantage of Balderdash is that even hardened games haters will generally warm to it IME. The Big Idea is also reasonably good for games haters. Masquerade is great, but does involve standing up & acting so only for the reasonably extrovert
