We all want to know where McDie lives, sounds fantastic.

Evening, may I join you? Just returned from a few days at Mil's...Christmas thoughts should brighten me. (rearranges angetl wings)

Angel wings. Haven't even opened the wine yet. May be that's the problem...

I haven't got anything yet I window shop right up until December, then I start, although as dcs get older I start to panic I will not get that special toy

We do Christingle, then home for hot chocolate and leaving carrot and drink out for reindeer. New PJ's, story & bed.

However......like many others on here, I'd rather make more of Christmas eve and would be happy to let Christmas day pass me by, so the hamper idea sounds lovely.

My Dad died on Christmas day, so I think that's why I get into it all more on Christmas eve. Thanks for linking to the idea comewhine.

That sounds nice
we do the reindeer food and give it out to neighbours dc on our cul de sac , one of the dads dresses up as santa and walks past our street telling the children to go to bed early whilst they are sprinkling the food.
The mums and dads then have mulled wine and jacket potatoes whilst the dc whip themselves into a frenzy playing out in their pj's
Then head in for xmas bedtime story and bells ringing outside their bedroom door!!

I love xmas eve much more than xmas day....

I'm getting so excited now.

We are taking 3DS on the East Lancs Railway on a traditional train and they get to meet santa and we have a mince pie and sherry(urgh!) on christmas Eve than its a visit to the grandparents to eat all their goodies and home for a dvd and new pyjamas.

I love the reindeer dust and brandy carrot and mince pie being left out.

I'm off to write my christmas cards now
