Not sure if we have had thread saying HURRAH for stonking job that StGeorge has done on the MN christmas appeal this year.
I imagine this to be a hugely time consuming job, at a time of year, when we are all a bit stretched anyway, and she has done it cheerfully, efficiently and all round WONDERFULLY.

Thank you StGeorge and hurrah for generous MNers who contributed

now I would like to read about this in the sunday papers

Well done St George.

I guess no one wanted the item I offered for the xmas appeal

rubyslippers · 28/12/2008 16:03

agree - it is a huge task

Thanks St G

hurrah!

Hard work graciously done.

SaintGeorge · 28/12/2008 18:25

Thank you again.
None of it would have happened though without the generosity of all those who contributed so a big hurrah for all of them too.

chequers, I have everyone filed under email address so it is difficult to give you an accurate answer as to why your particular donation wasn't used. I did spend a hell of a lot of time working on this and chased a lot of people constantly by email, often with no replies. I had a thread stickied on MN for over a week asking anyone I had missed to get in touch. I am at a loss as to what else I was supposed to do .

chequersandroastedchestnuts · 28/12/2008 19:01

I'm sorry SaintGeorge, I wasn't having a go, honestly! I just thought it meant you hadn't found anyone who wanted it. Genuinely wasn't trying to undermine all your hard work, sorry.

I know how hard you worked on this St George, well done and thanks

solidgoldstuffingballs · 28/12/2008 20:25

Yup, well done StG and sorry for being too disorganised to get round to offering any stuff.

ClausImWorthIt · 28/12/2008 23:17

You did a fantastic job, StG.

Thank you.
