Xmas 09 will be at our place and I want to decorate properly so am hoping to stock up a bit in the sales - esp online as I hate shopping.

Point me in the right direction if you can - thanks

try aspen and brown website - they have some gorgeous decorations, not just for the tree - garlands, wreaths, table decs - all very classy

bevlongy · 24/12/2008 23:25

hey nothing wrong with Wilko's Don't be a snob!

goldFAQinsenceandmyrrh · 24/12/2008 23:27

I'm not being a snob - the lights on my front windows are wilko's as are all my ceiling decorations

Just ordered some lovely stuff in the Aspen & Brown, Laura Ashley and DotComGifts sales

I do this every year. Wilkinsons are the new Woolworths I found loads of bits and pieces in there. If I shop in there for some stuff I can spend a little more on one or two 'Wow Factor' stuff. This year I'm looking for a table center table piece, napkins and napkin rings. Tumblers & children's Christmas tableware (not paying full price for that.

franch · 26/12/2008 20:18

We had a Woolies, but have no Wilkos for miles Am hoping maybe our Woolies will turn into Wilkos.

Children's tableware would be good. Let me know if you find anything starbear!

mmm... might do a touch of sale shopping on Monday as my lovely friend has offered to work on my behalf (had an absolutely crappy day last Monday when I worked for the both of us!)
Nice Christmassy bargains for next year.. I might even just manage to spen my £5 Woolies voucher that's been lurking in the back of my purse for months..

TooFoggy · 28/12/2008 19:27

Past Times had some nice posh ones

ComeWhineWithMe · 28/12/2008 19:30

Next had loads in the sale and argos have some flower lights reduced from £50.00 to £12.00 which are really nice.

piximon · 29/12/2008 11:40

Sainsburys have reduced their decorations, I noticed some boxes of four reduced from £8 to £2 and loads for £1.75 or less. I was surprised by how pretty they were.
