Chartreuse, Mars bars, jelly snakes and bread sticks for Rudolph.

DH has made short work of it. I am pregnant and now craving chartreuse. Great.

simpsonsChristmasSpecial · 24/12/2008 20:39

Ds (3) insisted Santa have two drinks!!

A glass of milk which has just gone back in fridge and a glass of orange squash which has gone down the sink!!

To eat he has 3 rich tea biscuits and a carrot for Rudolph.

MABS · 24/12/2008 20:39

ds, aged 8, is insisting on vodka!

PestoHoHoHoMonster · 24/12/2008 20:41

a glass of red (the mulled's all been drunk ) , a carrot, a minece pie and a partridge in a pear tree sugar cube

OrmIrian · 24/12/2008 20:41

Well we started out with 8yr old single malt (mummy that's a bit mean, there's hardly any in that glass!), then added milk as well in case FC doesn't drink , a home-made mince-pie (blardly lovely, all butter pastry and a digestive biscuit (courtesy of DS#2), a bowl of water for the reindeers and some carrots (peeled and chopped by DD).

You know those restaurants where every dish is analysed in detail on the menu? Well that is how it is here tonight. A flutter of little post-it notes explaining everything ("Mummy said you could only have a bit of whisky because it's a bit burny and n there's a milk to make your mouth taste better." "You can sit on the sofa while you eat them if you want")

Reckon poor bloke's going to be paying for this come tomorrow, oh yes

gingernutlover · 24/12/2008 21:01

we have

mince pie and blackcurrant squash in a wine glass for FC, all sprinkled with magic dust

for rudolph we have porridge oats with magic dust mixed in and a bowl of blackcurrant squash

i have left dreggs in each bowl and sprinkled icing sugar in fireplace

dd was too scared to have her stocking in her room, so i told her FC makes in fly up the stairs into her room using the magic dust, and that he never leaves the front room just praying she sleeps through and doent have nightmares about him coming upstairs

HangingbaublesofBethlehem · 24/12/2008 21:02

HangingbaublesofBethlehem · 24/12/2008 21:04

gingernutlover - same here! dd's final words before falling asleep were 'father christmas not in my bedroom, just in the lounge..'

pantomimEDAMe · 24/12/2008 21:05

glass of sherry (saved the last of the bottle for me him), chocolate from the tree (forgot to get any mince pies) and two carrots for Rudolph - apparently he will be VERY hungry, ds reckons.

MrsDoylesMole · 24/12/2008 21:06

Mince pie and a glass of milk and a carrot for the reindeer. Also reindeer food sprinkled over the garden.

DontCallMeSantaBaby · 24/12/2008 21:10

Can of tonic (DD wanted lemonade, I thought something that mixed with gin would be just the job), mince pie, carrot for a reindeer (Rudolph must be the size of a house and the others starving).

Flippin' school have had the kids making 'Santa traps', like chimes that go on the door to alert them to the big red man's arrival! DD is asleep with the door shut for the first time in over two years, and SOMEONE has to negotiate the trap. I am SO having words with the school in January.

HappyMummyOfOne · 24/12/2008 21:24

SpaceTrain · 24/12/2008 21:47

Sloe gin and a mince pie for Santa

Some Dorset cereals mixed with "magic" glitter for Rudolph (gold to help him fly, and red to ensure his nose shines bright all night)

Rosasmum · 24/12/2008 21:47

Ready mixed Mojito, a mince pie and 3 small carrots. Lo's only 2 so she went along with my suggestions!
