Which Christmas songs do you really HATE?

I cannot stand Wham's Last Christmas. Have always, hated it's drippy 80s tune. But listened to the words properly tonight (TOTP2) and it's even worse. "Last Christmas I gave you my heart and the very next day you gave it away" GET OVER IT. I know, it's just washed over me until now.

That doesn't do much for me, or Mariah Carey's one. In fact, just about any of those pop ballad ones are radio switch-off time.

That Nat King Cole one about the laddie who hasn't got a daddy, always leaves me thinking "what the hell was that?"

feeling a real scrooge as regards christmas songs this year, they have been playing for for far too long imo

I don't really hate any of them, some a little annoying, except for one - Aaron Neville's White Christmas - atrocious stuff.

that fecking one about Solstice summat-or-other that was on TOTP2 this evening, near the end - it was sooo boring I have not only forgotten the name of it, but also who sang it! (c.1972)

aye, that's it - I was thinking the Wurzels but knew that was wrong, so yes, Jethro Tull.
