I have left it Sooo late to get dp a present but I thought I'd get him a voucher for a gift experience - redletterdays, virginexperiences, buyagift, you know the type. If anyone has used one of these companies and would be able to say if they are good or not, please let me know.

thank you

p.s. I think he'd probably like one of the driving or adrenaline type experiences. He seems to have done a fair bit of rally driving etc at work though as they tend to do that kind of stuff for promotional events.

dh and i had great fun on a red letter day driving experience which was stock car racing

www.redletterdays.co.uk/Experience/Ref/ICNTT

The actual stock cars only race six or so at a time, so they work a tournament structure through the day for about 30 people (?? IIRC)which gives you two or three goes in the cars. When you we were not in the stock cars they had other little fun things to do which (IMO) were as much fun as rthe actual racing. These were things like blind navigation, when the driver is blindfolded and a navigator has to direct a car, and also a ford capri with slick tyres on which you learn to skid around a tarmac track. Great laugh, prob most fun for him to do with you (or a mate). Beware some of the top notch experiences (rally driving, or driving a ferrari for example) don't give you that much time in the actual car and don't have any other games and fun to while away the time except watching the rest of your group, so make sure you check how much actual experience time you get for your money.

I've used this company www.buyagift.co.uk/ a couple of times in the last few months for presents {off road driving for my husband snd an afternoon tea for 2 for a v.good friend). They were v.efficient & sent the info the next day so I think you could still get it for Christmas! Also if you use this code 511106 you should get £5 off! Happy shopping!

thanks honey. I have used buyagift before but not for experiences. So I know they are good on delivery times etc. I just thought their 'experiences' looked more expensive than the equivalent from other companies so wondered if others might be better value.
