OCADO DELIVERIES

Sunshinesmith · 21/12/2008 23:24

Just got some bits and pieces delivered today from Ocado.

I ordered a 2.5kg piece of gammon but I got a 1.5 kg- and they have charged me the same.

Well, that;s almost 2pounds in weight less of what i ordered and paying the same amount.GRRRRRRR!

is there any point in complaining to customers services?

thanks,

they are usually brilliant with refunds etc

if you bought something at a cost per weight that cost shouldn't have changed, nor should the weight they send you vary radically from the average they put on the website. nvt to mention the inconvenience of not getting enough grub!

they once sent me a 2 chicken breasts that were almost triple the size and therefore cost of the average on the website. they refunded me the difference.

Go on their site and select orders, then refunds against the order number in question. You can select the reason for requesting a refund from a drop-down menu (I think there is a wrong product delivered option which may be the most suitable). They have always refunded me without quibbling and I find this way the quickest and easiest.

I hope I get the right stuff delivered - mine's coming on Tuesday.
