Just writing care to my Aunt and Uncle. My Uncle went into nursing home this year. Obviously card to both but envelope to just Aunt or both?? Might offend with just Aunt or upset with addressed to both as Aunt cared for Uncle for a long time.

RTKangaSANTAMummy · 18/12/2008 22:25

i thought uyou were sending 2 cards

Tommy · 18/12/2008 22:25

my Dad has moved into a home this year. I sent 2 cards - one to each of them and just put one name on each envelope.

Didn't realise I should have a dilemma about it!

RTKangaSANTAMummy · 18/12/2008 22:25

i think you should arddress to mr and mrs smith

blondehelen · 18/12/2008 22:27

I would address to both.

DesperateHousewifeToo · 18/12/2008 22:36

Envelope to both. Definitely.

crokky · 18/12/2008 22:37

I think def. Mr and Mrs - if you wanted them both to have a card, I would send both cards in the same envelope:

Envelope to Mr and Mrs
Card 1 to Mr and Mrs (to stay with mrs at home)
Card 2 to Mr and Mrs (to go to Mr in nursing home)

blondehelen · 18/12/2008 22:45

Thank you - envelope now addressed to Mr and Mrs!
