Any ideas on Christmasy activities to do to keep the children entertained next week

DS who is 4.5 breaks up from school tomorrow and he is so excited about xmas. I have a feeling that on Mon/Tues he will be on a high. Any ideas on what i can do to keep him and his 2.5 year old sister from arguing. Have got some (lovely) paperchains for us to make but need more inspiration/ideas. Thanks

Am looking for ideas too - so Bump

Collect holly, pine cones etc from the park and make a wreath or (much easier) a 'Christmassy arrangement' in a vase

Definitely cook - really simple biscuits or something like truffles or rocky road

Make paper chains

Watch the Snowman, or other Christmassy films

Make mince pies and paper chains.

Feed the ducks then go to a cafe for hot chocolate.

Maybe take some books or gifts or some cookies to the local hospital or old folks' home?

Clear out bedrooms ready for new toys and donate some stuff to chairty.

do a treasure hunt around the house.

Draw a picture for Father Christmas.

Go to a carol concert.
