anyone been?will i pass him off as the real one or shall i prepare dd that it may be is helper. how long did visit last?all reviews appreciated, thanksx

We went last Saturday, it was great. You go on a train first and then go through a door and meet FC. The dc's had their picture taken and he spoke to them for a bit. They both enjoyed it but they don't believe the ones in the shops are the real FC, we have always told them they are FC's helpers but tell FC what they have asked for.

We had a great day in London, went to Covent Garden and stuff. Hyde Park was crap. Lots of bloody expensive fair rides not much else.

did he have a real beard?

No, really classy outfit though, nice velvety red suit, lovely full wig and beard.

You get a better class of FC up in London than where I come from

They each got a nice book aswell, DS2 got The Snowman, DS1 another christmassy one.

I told my 3 5,5 and 4 that it might be the real one then asked after what they thought.

Point out the machine with children's letters on totally fooled my lot,that was it for them.He was a lovely Santa not very wrinkly but sounded like Archie off of Balamory. The elves are quite manic but very good with the kids. We spent ages outside and in Selfridges (window displays and toy dep with magic snow stand).

I'd avoid Hyde Park too not our cup of tea at all, was heaving and full of people who'd had 1 too many arguing!!!!

Mila - did your DC think he was the real one or not? My cousin says she only wants to see the real one not one of his helpers lol.
