Bucks Fizz, keep on asking questions . I am a total christmas obsessive too and spend literally hours reading recipes and ideas pages! Different reasons to you but I don't have my mum in my life either and sadly MIL passed away a few years ago now, so I feel like I have no one to pass down the traditions. But you can have lots of fun making your own and it will be trial and error.........just remember to laugh your ass off if anything goes totally tits up

i did my roast potatoes in goose fat for the first time 3 years ago and will always do them that way for Christmas now. Was from Sains but not sure which one. i think either would be good.

I love Christmas too! and also want to get it right and yes, from about November I start thinking about what i am going to cook and how i will cook it!
