Dont want to tie to knocker like last year because it hampered the postman. Not sure whether to buy a special hook or just whack in a cup hook. Wow what a major dilema

i have a picture hook on my front door for this

Plastic hook with a sticky back. Then you can remove it afterwards.

Our Tesco had overdoor hanger thingies for 50p last week. Sort of like a squared off S shape.

I bought a wreath with a sucker on last year - worked well on my glass door...

Replies! was thinking that it was being shunned as the most boring/pathetic question ever. Thank you. Wonder if sticky backed hook would be strong enough. Had thought picture hook and think will go that way this year and get special little hook in future.

try the plastic suction cup thingy - a few quid from the garden centre - works a treat on wood or upvc!! n(god i sound like a saleswoman)

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 16/12/2008 23:38

I just bought a suction cup thing from Lakeland....tis totally crap and my lovely wreath fell to the floor with a resounding thud approximately 5 minutes after being hung up

Look in active right now, just posted on one from last night - fishing line is the answer apparently

smurfgirl · 16/12/2008 23:44

My DH used garden wire and looped it over the top of the door to inside.
