Yay, but it is DS first xmas and i have got tack-tastic with lights, ceiling decorations, balloons, tinsel, the works.

There is probably an upcoming battle on this. The fact that I have credit cards and DS doesn't (and that I have already bought some incredibly tacky singularly attractive tree decorations on his urging may be the decisive factor. But he may have the wit to go to work on DH, who will be fresh back from India and a bit of a pushover...
