db has an on/off girlfriend with a 3 year old son, relationship has been off for ages is suddenly back on and i need to get her ds a xmas present. i have a 3 year old dd so i only know about pink glittery fairy princess crap - what do boys like? have done all my other shopping thought i was finished!

Playdoh requires you to "do" it with them. They love it so they're always begging for it. It smells disgusting, tiny little bits fall off and get trodden into carpets, squished between backs and seats of chairs, gets stuck on shoes and trodden all round the house, stuck onto arms of clothes. Then they discover it, pick it off and try to eat it. Eventually the bits dry and can be found in little hard mini-sausages everywhere.

Urghhh.

I have been given playdoh by two very good friends and I haven't excommunicated them, but it was a very close thing
