Or should I just go buy one?

And if I did buy one, which is especially lovely?

I have cheated and bought a Sanisburys Taste the Diffrence one and iced it myself. Had one last year they are yum.

I think I may pass it off as a made myself job .

I'm making a Dundee cake, which (according to Delia) is best made 'a few days beforehand.' So I'll probably make it the Saturday before Christmas.

At my mother's we usually have trad. rich fruit cake, but I'm hosting this year so I'm going to impose my preference for a more cakey and less curranty cake on everyone.
