dh is not really going to have anything to open on xmas day, it was his birthday a couple of weeks ago and he got money from everyone so he could buy a stereo. I know which one he wants, should I buy it and wrap it as a suprise even though it would be actually with his own money? or is that rally weird?
I have bought him some pj's and a dressing gown and some slippers, but that is the only present he will be getting this year and I bought myslef some underwear which I will have to give dh to give to me.

I think it's a bit weird tbh also why are you buying underwear for your dh to give to you? Why not just keep it?

BellaKissedSanta · 11/12/2008 16:06

Not weird, imho. We often source (and buy) our own pressies for the other one to wrap

Mercy · 11/12/2008 16:06

I'd let him buy it himself tbh.

What about getting him a couple of new cds to go with the stereo?

LedodgyChristmasjumper · 11/12/2008 16:07

Lol you're like my friends sil who does this she buys her own present then asks my friend for the money then gives my friend the present to wrap and give to her on Christmas day!

LedodgyChristmasjumper · 11/12/2008 16:07

Waste of wrapping paper if you ask me.

thexmasstockingmonsterofdoom · 11/12/2008 16:08

want dh to give me something so I have a pressie to unwrap as I will be getting even less as he has already bought me slippers but gave them to me as it is so cold here that he didnt see the point of me freezing till xmas.

I don't have anything to open, well apart from the one secret santa we do with the adults in the family.

thexmasstockingmonsterofdoom · 11/12/2008 16:11

I just really get over excited about xmas and I like to have a least one pressie.

That's fair enough, i'm not having a go or anything just didn't really see the point but if it makes you happy then it's worth it.
