Microphone for 3yo

I want to get DS a microphone for Christmas. I don't want it to do anything other than amplify his voice, no silly noises. Can anyone recommend one, please?

doesn't elc's £4 one do just that?

twinklytoes - I don't know! Did you mean the echo microphone? I'm really not sure what one of them is - I've been googling, but I'm still not sure whether they actually amplify, or just do some sort of echo effect...

Why on earth would anyone want their dc to sound louder

thequietone · 11/12/2008 09:55

Satsuma - you beat me to it. I was wondering why you'd want to make your 3 year old louder too!

Don't be killjoys!

Our friends have the ELC microphone with stand. He loves it, but I hate all the canned applause, so I'm looking for a compromise!

The ELC echo one will be annoying loud enough imo...

Thanks SatsumaMoon.

Any recommendations from people who like their kids' singing?

the elc echo one isn't too loud until they learn to shout in it. dd2 loves hers.

What if he sings into it? Will it sound like he's singing into a microphone, or just like he's singing?
