In the Waitrose Xmas magazine this year where arch Ponce Syephen Bayley has an article on the design and gemütlichkeit of a Scandanvian winter.
It is really just an excuse for arty red and white shots.

One of these is a real life " serving suggestion" type idea. The picture is of red and white playing cards face down with a cookie cutter on top of it and then a white unlit tea light on top.

Next to it it says " arrange red and white playing cards with a cookie cutter on top of it and then a white unlit tea light on top."

UTTERLY senseless.

I can just imagine some ponce actually doing it and their MIL coming in and clearing it all away in a helpful manner thinking that one of the children had dropped a pack of cards on the table.
