Football replica kit

New goalie gloves, shin pads, boots, socks

Football books eg Top Trumps one

DS1 (9) says last year he liked Lego (Indiana Jones lego big this year) K-nex, Magnetix. Hmm spotting a theme here?

Books - Michael Morpurgo, Roald Dahl, Jeremy Strong

I'm the same natty...ds1 (just 9) is football crazy so I've embraced it. I got a goal for the garden and Arsenal stuff. I'm also buying him a small electronics kit, books and a ds game. What team does he support? can you get a calendar etc. Otherwise ds1 wants microstars (football figures!) or match attax (football cards!)

Its a hard age isn't it - they don't seem old enough to be out of trains etc already

Any DS games he really wants? Mine have just had Surf's Up which was a huge hit (and only £12 on Amazon).

My 8 year old loves Indiana Jones and Star Wars. Pokemon cards are very popular as are any Top Trumps type of cards. Also, he is a big fan of the Beast Quest books.

Lego? (altho my personal opinion is the risk of Lego Foot is too high a price to pay )

Playmobil? DS loves Playmobil and has just been the grateful recipient of the knights castle/carry case which comes with a couple of knights, a horse, armory type thing and a catapult type thing.

Hi all

Thanks for all your great ideas!

He is not into Dr Who anymore - think we exhausted that last year!

As for what football team does he support - well here goes, Arsenel, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Man Utd and all because there there are certain players at each of the clubs that he really likes - bless him.
So far ive got him a Liverpool calendar, and a Man Utd footie shirt with a name on the back (dont ask me what name it is because i cant remember)! a indiana game for the wii, a few dvd's and a few football annuals oh and a horrid henry joke book! Ive also got junior brain training and wii music coming from Amazon.

Christmas used to be so easy for him....not any more i feel!

How about Ben 10?? My DS1 aged 8 is getting lots of Ben 10 things including a Ben 10 skateboard. He is also getting a game for the PSP (Sonic Rivals 2) and a Wii game (Wario Shaker or soemething like that!)

He is also heavily into Lego particularly Indiana Jones and Star Wars. He is also getting Star Wars Clone Trooper Blaster as is his brother (aged 4) as they really obssessed (sp??) with Star Wars.
