Do i have to cook a full roast on boxing day or can i get away with an all day buffet type thing?

Dp's family are coming and i dont want to be stuck in the kitchen all day.

pelvic I think buffet, people are more inclined to graze and will probably be grateful for not having another big meal to eat but the opportunity to return to the table when they feel like it

I wouldn't cook a roast on boxing day too. But I never cook a roast! Would people really want big heavy dinners 2 days in a row? Along with the rest of the food that xmas day brings?
I'd do a cold meat buffet I think

Buffet - it wouldn't be Boxing Day without a good buffet! Late breakfast at about 10o'clock - full english. Walk on the beach, hot chocolate or g&t somewhere. Lay out buffet at about 3o'clock - do nothing else all day!
