It's her 2nd birthday on january too which makes it harder. The problem is we want to get her something as the other two, 7 and 5 will be upset that FC left her out.

I have just bought DD a new dolls buggy - I worried that it was only £12 (I bought the 'expensive' one on purpose!) but she won't know any difference. I have also bought her some nice bits for her bedroom as she's moving into a bed, a puzzle and have bought a till and play food for her and DS to share.

clutteredup · 03/12/2008 16:28

Thank you ....but.....she already has a special bear friend and doesn't play with the rest of her cuddlies.
She has her own dolly and has the use of her sisters large collection, we already have lots of puzzles, play food kitchen stuff etc.
Did I mention older 2 have been over induldged by in laws.
Clothes are a good idea, she likes clothes - and dressing up but we have a lot of those already
She's about to go into her own bedroom so room things are a good idea. Her big sis is getting a dressing table for her present , any ideas for 2 yo things for bedrooms - lots of space as only has small bed and chest of drawers to go in new room at the moment.

A very nice beanbag?
A toddler armchair?
A lovely duvet cover or quilt?
Cushions?
A bedside rug?

JustKeepSingingCarols · 03/12/2008 16:33

Not v exciting but would be a present at least in the siblings eyes:
those material bags to keep toys in with a theme that she might like
big beanbag to flop on for her room (ds1 2.5 loves his)
or those squishy chairs?
(jojomamanbebe do nice ones but they are pricey, but if that's here main presents should be ok?)

here

clutteredup · 03/12/2008 16:39

OOh I like the beanbag chair its lovely , it's about what we're psending on DS so pricewise its OK - I'll show it to DH tonight, thank you.
And if he doesn't like it......any other brilliant ideas?

how about something little and consumable-food of some sort, paper/pens etc?

does she have a torch? all children need their own torch.

compo · 03/12/2008 16:41

a rainbow aquadraw or do you already have one?

clutteredup · 03/12/2008 16:50

Torch is a good idea .
Tell me about the aquadraw, is it messy?

bubblagirl · 03/12/2008 17:04

aqua draw is great its just water you fill the pens with water and draw on the mat it comes out all rainbow cloured its great

bubblagirl · 03/12/2008 17:04

no mess at all and no worries of drawing on walls as its just water

clutteredup · 03/12/2008 17:07

How wet ? Her favourite game is shaking water out of her beaker all over the floor!

OP posts:
bubblagirl · 03/12/2008 17:09

its just a pen with water so only comes out when pushed onto mat so its not very wet at all;

compo · 03/12/2008 17:09

it is here we've got one for dd for xmas

clutteredup · 03/12/2008 17:12

go glow light or gloe bear

clutteredup · 03/12/2008 17:22

Too many bears to fit in her cot at the moment, although she's just starting to like the door open at might - methinks its the bears that scare her!!!

I was going to suggest a little table and chairs for her room, if you've got the space. We've just got a set for DS from Ikea and it makes the room work so much better.

clutteredup · 03/12/2008 17:27

A nice idea - not sure I can get Ikea before Christmas but I'll look online.
