Amazon deliveries-anyone else having trouble with orders?

i ordered a book for my nephews birthday.

i ordered it on the 6th of Nov and they gave me a 2 week delivery,have just had another email saying that it will be delivered between 18-21 Dec and am not happy and have emailed them to tell them this.

is anyone else having difficulties with orders?

So far Amazon have delivered everything and very speedily. I have ordered masses from them.

I did start this throughout november, as I reckon they are so busy now that this is when things can go pear shaped.

all my stuff has arrived but I only ordered things that were listed as in stock ships immediately - still used super saver delivery

I usually find them excellent (even at Xmas) but this year they have been pants. They took 3 weeks to tell me a DVD I ordered was out of stock (ordered it end of Oct), and I have been waiting 2 weeks for another DVD to arrive. Not impressed.
