I was thinking about the new Chalenj one but as its new I don't know if its any good or not .

It is for my parents and two sisters and they have the usual suspects

I wanted to order it on line and get it delivered

Thank you

i love balderdash and pictionary. was really crap at risk (think i only bought it cos michael stipe sings about it in an rem song)

another great one for music lovers is hummbug (or is it humbug, cant remember). you have to hum tunes for people to guess.

the only thing is, i bought mine about 10 or more years ago when i was listening to music all the time, so it went from the 60's to the 90's (or something like that), and my contempories and i(!) knew the majority of the songs.

however if i was to buy it now it would be up to date and i wouldnt know any songs from about 2002 onwards probably (kids eh, not interested in the dandy warhols, only want to listen to bloody cbeebies)

Another one for balderdash here - great fun.

One of the best board games I've ever played is the really nasty horse racing game - bloody brilliant

Chalenj is brilliant! I hadn't heard of it but played it at my sisters at the weekend and have never laughed so much in my life playing a boardgame. I'm getting one for xmas day for the in-laws

Blokus is fun, not really a board game tho

gifttrap is entertaining. I'm not much of a board game player but it made everyone laugh quite a lot.
