Stocking Pressie Suggestions Please...

Hi all,

My dd will be 1 on 22 December so although it's not her first Christmas, we are treating it as such considering I was so knackered for last Christmas (long, difficult labour...even longer story ).

We are having no problems finding gifts for her. On the contrary, we are having to stop ourselves buying too much. I suspect all of dh's brilliant ideas are just a not-so-clever ploy to get the toys that he fancies for himself. But we are struggling as to what to put in her stocking. We have a couple cheap rattles we bought from Ethel Austin's as well as her new "big girl sippy cup" but we can't think of anything else. What is appropriate for a 1 year old's stocking?? Any and all suggestions wanted.

Thanks

Socks? New bibs?

A little book or two.

Oooh...pocket books!! Hadn't thought of that. She has a couple little board books that attach to her pushchair and she has chewed them almost beyond recognition. Looks like Father Christmas may be bringing her some new ones!

Thanks.

I put a packet of variety rice krispies or equivalent and a carton of juice. Gets you an exta 30 mins in bed while they look at their stocking contents and have a picnic breakfast, in your room

I used this place for stocking fillers this year. Excellent, fast service. There is a baby section.

Im having difficulties with this too. DD will be 1 in February.
So far I have got-

Socks- little knitted pink ones with bears on.
A new toothbrush.
A new flannel and sponge for the bath.
Lovely miniture Burt Bees smellies.
Bib with her name on.
Cloth book.

Its difficult at that age isnt it? I also plan on getting her a couple of pairs of new tights, vests and some clips and bobbles in the hope that she'll grow some hair next year!

you can get nice "little libraries" (In the night garden, peppa pig etc). The books are all the sturdy card ones too.
