I'm thinking maybe tomorrow? Or is that too early? I love the fairy lights though and think DS will totally love it as he was too wee last year to appreciate it!

Next weekend, and its killing me to wait. Tried to convince DH we should have gone at the weekend as it wasn't raining (we have to go an dig it up), so he will have to do it in the rain next weekend if necessary. I have compromised and me and the DCs made lots of outdoor xmas decorations yesterday afternoon to keep us going until next week. This waiting is worse than sexual frustration.

Next weekend, but am wishing we'd done it this weekend.
Mind you, I get fed up of it and want to take it down by Boxing day normally!

Sometime after the 20th. My Mum brought me up to be traditional about it: it is Advent now, not Christmas so no tree for most of December. I also leave it up till 12th Night (6 Jan) as this is when Christmas is officially over. It's funny how we become like our mothers. I love Advent though, I have always had an Advent calendar, and this year ds (5 months) gets one instead. Today it was a snowman behind door 1 (I was never allowed a chocolate calendar either)

Hopefully on Sunday... my parents used to put the tree up on 1st december because my birthday is 3rd so it was all done in time for that

Muppets - what, you mean she hasn't worked out the benefits of delayed gratification at 3yrs old??

Thinking about it, when it comes to chocolate there are no benefits to delayed gratification!

TheMuppetsChristmasMuggle · 01/12/2008 13:03

nope lol - she doesn't get it from me - i can't stand chocolate. I think she gets it from DP lol.
