Is it too early to put the Xmas tree up?

We're going away for a week before Xmas so want to make the most of the decorations at home before we go.
Any idea when it's ok to put them up? Don't want any bad luck

I know some people put the decs up on dec 1st,just saw someone driving by with tree on car!
We do it a few weeks before xmas but it's entirely up to you,don't think there are any superstitions about it but not sure.
A real tree may be dead by xmas but as you are going to be away ..who cares

Do you think I'm being too superstitious?

my ds has put his tree up in his bedroom already (it is a little 2 footer we got in a charity shop a couple of years ago so he could put his gaudy decorations on that, while I am a bit anal about tinsel etc)

well i am not a superstitious person so go for it..it's all a load of shite anywya.I take ours down before the 12th night or whatever the fek it is and nothing awful has happened yet

We are doing ours tomorrow as otherwise with work etc it won't get done until far too late and we won't have our fill of glitter sparkles and tat before it's time to take it down!

i think there are superstitions... I am not superstitious but always take it down on time to make up for putting it up early (hmm maybe a bit superstitious then!)
