oh no! bit worried now. DS's letter was poster (1st class) to Father Christmas, the North Pole.

Don't worry. It will arrive because the elves (in the Postal Office) deal with all the different addresses.

I would....I think it would be cheeky not to.

If you put a stamp on it and a return address, the nice people at the Post Office will send it on to Father C and will guarantee you a reply!

we have put return addresses on the letters. do i need to put them on the envelope too???

Yes put your address on the back of the envelope as there are millions of similar letters addressed to Santa and it makes it easier for the post office to 'return' the letter.
Yes, put a stamp on as well.
