No idea of what to buy 10 year old niece. Have exhausted funky bags, hats in past years. A complete tomboy who likes Fatface but think everybody else buying Fatface vouchers. Any ideas?

How much do you want to spend?

How about a (cheap) digital camera. Tesco have some basic ones for £20 or £25 - ideal for kids first digital camera without looking babyish.

Hat/Scarf/Gloves/Ear Muffs - stripes & bright colours plentiful at the moment which would be more in keeping with the 'fatface funky' rather than girly.

CD? DVD?

Cheap MP3 player if she hasnt already got one?

Books if you know her tastes, same for cd's.

DVD hamper - dvd, pop, popcorn and chocolate.

HappyMummyOfOne - What a good idea of puttng a hamper of treats together with a DVD!
I like that (had never thought of doing that before!)
Thank-you!

Craft kits, book voucher, outdoor things - torch, compass etc, bug boxes. Boogie board. Windsurf lesson.

(those are all things we've bought for neices at this age).
