present for DS2 (aged 20 months)

Hello

DS2 seems to have inherited nearly all the obvious toys for someone his age (ride-ons etc) from his brother.

any suggestions? we don't want to go mad with expensive things (both on principle and with credit crunch...)

Cars, a garage, little people/happy land, Aqua draw, play food, painting/craft things, books, toy piano or a toy kitchen?

my son is 20 months and his two most favourite things in the whole world are

1. a beach ball...i know its madness

1. this which is very nice makes wonderful noise and the signal goes up and down for some reason its £10 cheaper here than in the independant posh toy shops

My ds still love his brio stacking penguins from when he was 2 , he is now 3.

DS is 21mo and absolutely mad for Play-doh at the moment. ELC do nice sets with cutters, rollers etc and it's v cheap.

Also anything with wheels on is a hit in this house.
