Just got my dad a small size stainless steel Thermos flask, boring but I know he will like and use it (he is a keen fisherman, his old flask is not proper Thermos & doesn't keep warm well).
Luckily we are mostly a token present only family .
The best ever present I got for my Mum & Dad together (which was a lot more than token cost, but they were really pleased with it) was a big box of Longhorn beef to go in their freezer.
