Those ideas you've had for those hard-to-buy people that you think are fantastic and could inspire others.
For example, I got SIL a jokey desk calendar for her office

Thankyouandgoodnight I don't have a picture of it, but it comes in a cellophane pack, so is fairly flat and would probably be best packaged up in a stiff cardboard envelope (which, cunningly enough, was what it was delivered in...) for maximum gift impact. It's one of those things that like all the best presents-- is kind of disproportionately pleasing for its size! I'm definitely going to get another one for myself because I want to put it somewhere prominent and measure my kids against it and also put us and friends and other family members on too.

(some of the measurements I can see are... Henry VIII, Elvis, Chinese Terracotta Army soldier, a baby giraffe, Tutankhamun..)

It and a bottle of cheap Aldi Prosecco would be present heaven for me. It on its own would be totally cool...

How about a small present for a 17 year old nephew??? I always give him money but my dh's stupid generous family always insist on everyone giving a 'santa' present to each other aswell as the main present......so he will have money (don't like that either) then i need a small pressie to go with it. He is a student, into music, beer, going to see bands....that kind of stuff....any ideas??
