Christmas Cake Recipe please?

Hi there
Having never made a Christmas cake before , I now feel ready to step up to the challenge! Could you recommend a recipe to me, and any advice about icing them? Also, am I too late?

I have only ever used one recipe - delias classic christmas cake.

Shall be doing it again this year - its yum and quite boozy.

I did delias classic christmas cake last weekend too,

it looks / smells (and the crumbs taste) seriously good (and am making another to be gifts this weekend (dried fruit soaking in brandy right now ))

I was pleased i followed her suggestion and got an oven thermometer and it was clear the oven HAD to be exactly 140c so i dod have to adjust the dial slightly

as a result of following instruction exactly after 4 hours 15 mins I had what seems to be a perfect Xmas cake
