Does anyone have any nice ideas for a home made secret santa gift which I could give a work colleague? The value is approx £5. I have seen a nice recipe for fudge - any other ideas?

Fill a pretty but cheap mug with some fudge wrapped in cellophane, a sachet or two of hot choc, and some cookies?

That sounds like a nice idea and great way of presenting the fudge.
