Where can i get a cheap balance bike from? You know, the ones with no pedals? I don't want to spend more than £35, as no guarantee they will use it! (you know the story!!)

Any thoughts? x

you could take the pedals off a normal bike, then pop them back on when they've learnt to balance properly adn ride it normally

Have a look on Ebay. I got one for slightly more than that (£50) I think with free delivery and was used loads by my dd.

She also went straight onto her pedal bike with no stabilisers. Just got on and rode it as she had already mastered the balance.

We got one for DD2 from ebay for about £35. She wasn't interested at all!

Halfords has a good range but only online and slightly more tha your budget - under 50 pounds.

just get a normal bike and take off the pedals. make sure it is one you can take off the stabilizers because some are fixed.
