They are good fun but ds got fed up after a while.

I was going to order three for various boys at school and toysrus want to charge me 4.95 plus £5 delivery because I live in a "remote rural area" I am 45 minutes west of Aberdeen. It would nearly double the cost, I think I will pass on toysrus and look for them somewhere else.

We had one. It never picked up anything on any barcodes and we have tried loads!
Newer ones maybe better though.

Hi clueless I have seen those things and they are difficult to work and very tempramental! So wouldnt advise unless your DC's have alot of patience.

I have the same problem with toys r us with the delivery as we are not long past aberdeen either dont know if they class the whole of area pssed there as remote

Isnt it ridiculous there is whole lot of country north of Aberdeen, and a flipping toysrus in Aberdeen. I might give the toy a miss thanks for the tip.
