DD1 (6) would love a DS for christmas but so would DD2, but we think dd2 is too young for one, so what to do?

buying one for dd1 only would result in huge arguments but why should dd1 miss out?

Is she really missing out if she doesn't have a DS at 6?

My DS is 6 in February and his Christmas list included lego, Playmobil, a scooter and a Transforming Wall-E - don't ask

He scours the Playmobil catalogue for his favourite things (which change daily, unfortunately for Father Christmas!) - he's obsessed with it.

He also likes Hama beads, art and craft stuff, those mould and paint kits where he can make animals and stuff from plaster and then decorate them. He loves books and DVDs (Scooby Doo) and story CDs.

Sorry - probably not much help for your DD but might give a couple of ideas? Is she into High School Musical? (ALL DS's female friends are obsessed!)
