The only thing I can think of that I might like is an ipod. Trouble is I've got the whole family asking me what I want, so I thought I'd ask you lot and see if I fancy anything other MN'ers are after!

I have done a l;ist for DH to let people know. My Birthday is just before Christmas too.

Although my mum has already given us our christmas gift, some money for enw camping gear earlier in the year.

essential oil fragrance

caramel buttons

drinking chocolate

book tokens

Infact anything by Liz earle, Elemis or Avenda too. I can not afford these things for myslef during the year, so it is nice to have little treats.

compo · 28/10/2008 07:37

I would like my own laptop or an iphone but it is never going to happen

I would be happy with some wine, chocolate and some lovely flowers too

oggsfrog · 28/10/2008 07:42

A pressure cooker
Book tokens
Slippers
There is also a long, long list of books on my wish list at Amazon.
Knitting needles and yarn.
More books.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 28/10/2008 07:43

sony ebook

kitbit · 28/10/2008 07:51

I'd like some new sunglasses as a small 4 year old sat on mine accidentally earlier this year
I'd also like some really nice choccies, a morning off and nice new book to take to the cafe where I can have coffee and danish pastries while I read in peace, I'd like a moleskine notebook and I'd love some new music to listen to as I just don't have the time to go searching. I'm going to ask dh if he will go onto iTunes and find me some stuff he'll know I like then download it for me, that would be a great pressie.

To be honest, the music and the cafe/book/time would be the best presents!

Weegle · 28/10/2008 07:51

New wellies - Mrs Glamour am I!
Books
Pan which can go under the grill
New knickers
Mascara
Clothes vouchers

sockmonkey · 28/10/2008 07:58

I'm not even sure if we are buying for each other again this year, but for the last 8 years, birthdays & christmas I have asked for a beanbag... still haven't got one!

SammyK · 28/10/2008 08:08

I would lurve. . .
a fluffy soft dressing gown (don't have one)
a new handbag (mine ready to snap on strap)
a Ipod shuffle (just because)
chocolates
next voucher (so I can buy new jeans)

I won't get any though as we don't do grown up presents! I amhoping if I am frugal enough between now and xmas I can hit the sales in a low key way.

MamaHobgoblin · 28/10/2008 09:41

I'm pulling my spending horns right in at the moment, so anything I'd normally treat myself to would be lovely. I'd like a couple of pairs of PJs that actually fit my post-baby body for a start!

What I really crave is a day off every week to knit, quilt, paint, sleep and so on. Don't think Santa can run to that, though!

pigleto · 28/10/2008 10:02

I want a new troll bead for my charm bracelet

janeite · 28/10/2008 11:10

I'd like some Peace Of Mind lotion from origins and a new Urban Decay Primer Potion.

A big old fashioned mixing bowl and a big pie dish (and one of those little blackbird things to stick out of the top of the pie).

Lots and lots and lots of books but especially Isabel Allende's latest, "The Sum Of Our Days".

A piece of mouth-cuttingly strong cheddar and some Duchy Originals oatcakes.

SlasherGoober · 28/10/2008 11:15

2009 diary from DD.
Pink lipstick from DS2.
Lindor from DS1. (They get me the same every year, and I love these things so all happy.)

A new combi microwave,
A food processor,
Nickers,
Socks,
Parker pen,
Some cake tins,
Booze,
Surprises and
a good seeing to!

jenk1 · 28/10/2008 11:28

books
kitchenaid (yeh in my dreams!)
perfume
slippers
shoes
breakfast in bed
night away with DH (haha wishful thinking)

choosyfloosy · 28/10/2008 11:29

A waterproof coat with a hood that is not a North Face cagoule, I look so hideous in mine but cycle/walk a lot so need something practical.

A large men's cashmere jumper in a flattering colour (chance would be a fine thing except you do see cashmere around more now)

I haven't been able to afford it for ages, but a custom-blend foundation from Prescriptives is like magic for the self-esteem, I have finally run out of the one I got for my wedding 4 years ago [must have gone off emoticon]. Back to Tesco, but that's not bad either.

MrsGokWan · 28/10/2008 14:04

A cleaner and someone to do the ironing

taken4granted · 29/10/2008 10:48

GrinningGorilla · 29/10/2008 20:51

TskullsScreaming · 29/10/2008 21:14

FlameNPumpkins · 01/11/2008 13:39

I take it we're talking realistic stuff?

Mother Pucker lipgloss
A clean house (ok, maybe that should be on my unrealistic list )
Erm... that's about it.

My mum, dad and sister want to know what to get me and I have nuffink. Best I have managed to come up with is season 3 earl from my sister.

Penthesileia · 01/11/2008 13:42

A lie-in. [yawn emoticon]

Fat chance, though!

Doodle2U · 01/11/2008 13:47

TaylorMade or Callaway golf driver!
