We just do for the DCs, but it seems lots of people do for their DPs/DHs - do they do one for you?

we just do it for DS.

DD1, DD2, DS and DH.

I'm foreign and not really into the whole stocking thing.

just the children as DH hates stockings. (well, unless I am in them).

I like them tho, and drop hints every year to DH for one, but does he listen......

cherryliquormonster · 20/10/2008 20:29

whoever is staying here at xmas- this year it will be the 4 dc's, my sis, my bro and dp. he will do one for me

DLI · 20/10/2008 20:34

i give guests little treats with their dinner, nothing too much just little parcels of chocolates etc instead, a little surprise after the big surprises

Flier · 20/10/2008 20:51

DLI - thats what I've been doing too, Last year I wrap up a Terry's chocolate orange with a lottery scratch card on top, wrapped beautifully.

i think it is so much nicer because it makes the meal a little more special

Flier · 20/10/2008 21:13

everyone in the house gets one. this yr that will be mil, fil, poss sil, dh, dc and me. stocking shopping is my fave part of the shopping!

DLI · 20/10/2008 21:20

flier, what about individual alcoholic drinks for the men and small "tester" bottles of perfume for the women, you know the one's you can buy for about £3.50/£4, for the children chocolate is always a winner!

Flier · 20/10/2008 21:22

good idea, thanks DLI

ja9, do you spend all year doing stocking shopping?

I do a stocking for DD, DH and DH will do one for me.

This year I am doing the table gift thing too.

I have favour boxes in the shape of crackers which will have a wine glass charm in them We have lunch at my grandma's house so in all there will be me, dh, dd, dad, step mum, gran and great uncle.

mumeeee · 21/10/2008 09:51

DD1,2 and 3 and Dh. He does a stocking for me.

JuxBackFromTheDead · 21/10/2008 10:03

I did one for dh the first year we were married and he got upset that I didn't do one the next year! So, I've done it every year for him and for dd once she was born (well, actually she was 4m on her first Xmas so I didn't). Last year, they did one for me, but that was the first time.
