I want a cordless iron.

I want a ring with an emerald in it. My chances are slim to none.

PestoFangsLookGoodOnMeMonster · 17/10/2008 14:33

I don't want anything. Maybe just a hand with the washing-up

flowerybeanbag · 17/10/2008 14:36

A new roller ball Dyson
A food processor
New Maharishi trousers

Unfortunately DH and I agreed to scale Christmas presents for each other right back this year, having had 'big' presents already for our anniversary in August.

I think I may have been a bit previous agreeing to that...

(Hi PJ!)

Pinkjenny · 17/10/2008 14:36

Hi flowery

SueW · 17/10/2008 14:39

Sony ZX1 At last technology is doing what I'd like it to.

Won't get it so will settle for a pair of boots or hat/scarf.

solo · 17/10/2008 14:48

I always liked my cordless steam iron, but since I got a steam generator iron, I like that so much more.

platypussy · 17/10/2008 14:48

Flowery have you had a try of the rollerball? It might be just me but I found it difficult to manouvre(sp?)

flowerybeanbag · 17/10/2008 14:57

I haven't tried it platypussy no. I was simply lured in by the telly advert... I was hoping it would be bound to be easier to manoeuvre than my clunky old basic Dyson which gives me a hernia every time I carry it upstairs.

Maybe I need to try the roller one, take DH with me and get him to try it, then if we like it hopefully he might decide we definitely need one. He has a tendency to do that with gadgets...

lillypie · 17/10/2008 15:00

I want a BFP Ooh and a really nice purse!!

platypussy · 17/10/2008 15:01

Yes flowery - my dh always chooses our irons.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 17/10/2008 15:01

No hassle from xH

And for the DC's nursery to actually know which sticker/paint/model project is theirs so I don't end up with some other childs creation cluttering up my house.

Oh and some new Benefit make up

Howlingbellyofbeelzebub · 17/10/2008 15:01

My I personally recommend this - it's awesome, my floors have never looked so clean. (look around for deals, mine was £40 on Ebay.)

RedOnHerBeheadedHead · 17/10/2008 15:04

We're skint at the moment, so all i want is to see my DS's face light up when he sees his presents. DH is making him a railway thingy with the stations and DH's Hornby trains from when he was a boy (and never used) - he's doing the harry potter castle and viaduct - I can't wait to see it all working!

flowerybeanbag · 17/10/2008 15:17

Howling, now I want to add that mop to my list!!

Sunshinemummy · 17/10/2008 15:21

Some new pajamas which is the only thing I know I'll definitely get. I'd also like a bike, some boots, the Booker winner (I usually get this as well to be fair) and the Sex and the City DVD.

AbbaFan · 17/10/2008 17:21

The mop is on Amazon for £40.

idobelieveinghosts · 17/10/2008 19:08

I want a snow globe...always wanted one as a child and never got one......have hinted most years since..but never got one ..if i don't get one this year i will buy one for my good self-hopefully in the january sales.

..and something sparkly...gotta have something sparkly at christmas!

would also love 'the Tudors' on box set..but not sure if one exists yet.

ShowOfHands · 17/10/2008 19:39

dh buys me a snow globe every year!

Kaplumbagadort · 17/10/2008 19:50

No point thinking of anything i want. I won't get anything!
As long as my DC are happy and get something they want, i will be happy.

crokky · 17/10/2008 19:53

I want cash.

GordonTheGhoul · 17/10/2008 19:56

Steam generator iron solo? That sounds amazing!

Well mum has said she'll get me the iron. I shall of course act surprised when I open it!

New underwear (but he would pick a red velvet g-string, like he did last time he bought me knickers and i would cry again)

JustKeepSwimming · 17/10/2008 20:03

idobelieve - i bought myself ds1 a snowglobe from M&S last year that lights up, fab

i would like:
portable ipod speakers
a wire that lets me play my ipod in the car
(a fixed car radio so i can use said wire!)
lots of clothes from Boden
(i have lived too long in primark specials with pg weight, now losing it and want to feel good in my clothes)
several new books
chocolates that are NOT for sharing
some really nice pj trousers for lounging at the weekend.

think that's it

JustKeepSwimming · 17/10/2008 20:04

will wait for my feb birthday for new underwear as i will have stopped bf by then

hellywobs · 18/10/2008 21:58

I like REN stuff and as it's quite pricey it's nice to get as a present. Haven't really thought about it.

A guarantee that husband and I will not lose our jobs next year....
