Letter from santa

Our pre-school is planning on writing letters from santa to the children(for a fee) I have searched mn's archives and come up with a few ideas but I was wondering if anyone uses somewhere they would recommend? Or have you done this for you school/preschool before so know what we should write?

The children are all under 5 and we'd love to create something that they'll all love.

TIA

At our school the p7(11yrs) write letters for the younger children and sign them as one of santa's elves

I bought this Letters from Father Christmas by J.R.R. Tolkien book and copied the letters for my dcs.

As I am not in the slightest big artistic I type in italics and go over the writing with a fountain pen. He also did some beautiful drawings which I copy with tracing paper and painted with water colours.

Using good quality paper helps make it look more authentic too.

Probably too time consuming to do 30 of them though!!

Dear child,

watch it or no Stuff for Christmas. Mrs Santa is a fine sized woman and she's got her eyes on your selection box.

Behave, or else.

Lots of love,

Santa xxxxx

How's that?

lol fabio

tooscared, i'll take a look at that link, thank you. I think it'll have to be a typed letter, with possibly over 30 kids to do one for i'm not handwriting them all and I can't draw for toffee!

Actually, I have a friend who can draw, maybe I can get him to do somthing for it wonder if he's any good with computer art type thing-a-me's
